Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations have passed altogether 83.71.The pass rate of JSC examination is 82.67 percent and JDC 88.71 percent. Some 29,838 JSC candidates and 1,014 JDC candidates got GPA-5. In the seven centres abroad, 442 candidates or 98.24 percent passed the examination, while 33 of them got GPA-5.

Last year, JSC examination pass rate 71.34 percent and JDC 81.03 percent. Some 8,556 candidates got GPA-5 in the 2010

A total of 1,537,422 students participate in this years JSC examination while the number of candidates in the JDC examination was 1,861,113.

The number of girls taking part in the examinations exceeds the number of boys by 137,585. Some 999,349 male students took part in the examinations and the number of girls was 861,764.
